Our Story
The Mirsonia Group draws our name from a small street in San Juan, Puerto Rico where our Founder and Principal, George Laws Garcia, lived during his youth. After a career in public service George founded the firm in 2019 based on an unwavering commitment to bringing the highest quality public policy, advocacy and government affairs capabilities and services to clients and causes working for transformative social, economic and political change. The Mirsonia Group name is meant to honor our roots and heritage, to keep us grounded by serving as a reminder of where we come from, and to inspire us to embody authentic leadership and an unwavering commitment to excellence in our service to others and society at large.
